We are just loving the diversity of the people we get to meet and work with here at Redvoice.
We spent a VERY enjoyable day at the York Races in September courtesy of our friends at Blacks Solicitors in Leeds (we came away £25 up on the day!!) and through them, we met Gerard Brophy who is the Yorkshire Cricket Team wicket keeper.
As part of their career, professional sportsmen host their testimonial year in which they have to organise a whole list of events thoughout the year – this takes a huge amount of organisation and effort on their part – this year is Gerard’s year and through all these events, there will be a significant amount of money raised for charity.
The first event is to be held on Thursday, 17th February – “The Leaders of Yorkshire Sport” dinner, at The Queens Hotel, Leeds. Amongst the guests there will be, Simon Grayson (Leeds Utd Manager), Martyn Moxon (Ex-England Cricketer), Barrie McDermott (English former professional rugby league footballer), Tanya Arnold (BBC Look North presenter), Kevin Connolly (comedian) and of course Gerard himself.
Lest we forget part of the reason for writing this blog – our very own Victoria Pritchard has offered her services to support Gerard and will be delighted to take to the stage to act as Master of Ceremonies for the evening – a job which is no mean feat but one she is exceptionally good at.
If anybody is interested in attending the event, they can contact us at hello@redvoice and we will pass on the details to the organisation committee.
